Annoyed with those chapped lips? You either keep on biting the crusty layer of dead skin or tugging it off. Here’s how you can make your DIY scrub at home that is without any chemicals. It won’t be harsh on your pocket either.
1. Brown sugar and honey scrub
Mix a tablespoon each of brown sugar and honey with a drop of vanilla (or coconut oil), and exfoliate your lips with this mixture. Wash it off with lukewarm water, and you are ready to flaunt your pout!
2. Lip balm scrub
Just mix your regular lip balm with granulated sugar and a tablespoon of coconut oil, and stir this mixture. Massage it gently across your lips, and bid good bye to your chapped lips.
3. Chocolate scrub
If you are looking for a flavoured scrub, then this one is perfect for you. Mix two tablespoons of granulated sugar with a tablespoon each of honey, vanilla, olive oil and cocoa powder. Make a thin paste and apply it on your lips for about five minutes. This lip mask tastes good and leaves your lips super-smooth.
4. Kiwi scrub
This one is pretty easy. All you need to do is to mix a tablespoon each of Kiwi pulp, sugar and any oil of your choice in a bowl. Scrub it for a minute, and say hello to your hydrated lips.
5. Mint magic
Mix three tablespoon of sugar with a tablespoon each of olive oil, honey and peppermint oil. Slather this paste on your lips for two to three minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. The result? Your lips will be soft, supple and little plumper!
