Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor together make one of the most beautiful and famous sister duo of bollywood. While you last saw Karisma on the big screen in 2012 film, Dangerous Ishhq, Kareena’s latest film is Veere Di Wedding (2018). And Bebo (as Kareena is affectionately called by her family, friends and fans), is back with her radio show called Ishq 104.8 FM’s What Women Want.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s latest guest on her show is her very own sister, Karisma Kapoor. In the promo videos which have surfaced online, Karisma spoke candidly and in fact, praised her sister, Kareena and called Bebo a role model for her. Karisma shared with Kareena, “Today, you are my role model. We are in the same profession, and the kind of strength we offer to each other is amazing. Apart from you, our mom has been an inspiration who single-handedly raised us so well.”
The most interesting and funniest part of the chat was when Karisma revealed that she is often trolled on social media for something which her sister does. On being asked about what she is trolled for, Karisma said, “Honestly, about you! So it is really funny. Aap apni behen ko kaho itna pout na kiya kare.“ Adding further about what other things she is trolled for, Karisma replied, “It’s a mixed bag and it’s really funny. Then maybe like, if I’ve not posted a picture in a long time with you or the family, there’s so many of your fans, who are like “Please ma’am, can you put a picture?’ So I think it’s a wonderful relationship also.
Karisma also commented on the recipe for staying relevant. She shared, “There is no recipe… It’s all about moving with the times. I have spent 27 years in the industry. The formula for me is to keep up with the times and attempting different things which further helps to stay relevant.”
