14th of August, it might be a normal day for other countries of the world. But for us, for us Pakistani’s it is the most special and the most remembered day of our lives, the day we got our Freedom. Before the independence of Pakistan, our country has faced a-lot of sacrifice, pain, struggle, hate, criticism. Specially Muslims have face a lot of hate and pain and were having a very slavery life before Pakistan was free. Muslims wanted a separate homeland or a subcontinent to live according to their beliefs and religion. Because for Muslims a piece of land was necessary for their freedom. That is why Pakistan gained freedom and was declared an independent state after the end of British ruled in 1947. It was the most amazing and the most beautiful news for us Pakistani’s that Our Country took place in the world map. Our Country is also known as The Islamic Republic of Pakistan. All of this happened only because of the Founder of our Country our beloved “Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah”. The symbol of our country is integrity, efforts and Sacrifices. Pakistan is the combination of two words “Pak” and “Stan” Pak mean pious and Stan mean land that means the land of pious. The efforts made by the leaders and people like Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Dr. Allama Iqbal, Liaqat Ali Khan, Fazl-e-Haq, and also many other made sure that their sacrifices does not go in vain and they were able to provide the Muslims an independent homeland.
Today we know we are living in the worst situation, there are to many problems that we are facing which includes corruption, load shedding, disorder of law, unemployment, floods, where courts themselves cry for justice, inhumanity with children and women and what not. But above all situations how can we still feel proud? Every one says that What has Pakistan given to us? So here i want to tell this Quote that is “Ask not what Your Country has given to you; just ask what have you ever done for Your Country’. With this spirit today i invite you all Pakistanis to Love Pakistan and live for Pakistan and for its people. And be proud of being a Pakistani. WE ALL LOVE PAKISTAN!
