Superhero movie Wonder Woman 1984 will debut in US theaters on Christmas Day. This is definitely an unusual release plan prompted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Gadot said the move “wasn’t an easy decision.”
AT&T’s Warner Bros studio said the blockbuster film will be shown in theaters outside the United States, where HBO Max is not available, starting on December 16.
The film is a sequel to 2017 hit Wonder Woman” which collected $821.8 million in global ticket sales.
