No matter where they inhabit in the globe, or what cultural or social influences they have: Women, overall, are better than males in empathizing with others. Empathy is a highly regarded characteristic that is required for social interactions. The ability to comprehend another person’s emotions and feelings is referred to as empathy. It is a necessary element in both professional and personal life. It is the skill or attribute to comprehend the values, beliefs, and cultures of another. Empathy is an essential ability since it affects how people engage socially and influences how personal connections grow.
Emotions are handled differently by men and women. The concept that women have more empathy for the plights of others than men originate partly from female’s traditionally higher role for childrearing. Females take greater immediate responsibility than men for the survival of children and others in humans, from early childhood through old life.
A woman would constantly ponder a million times before doing anything and will even seek permission from her guardian, whether it is her parents, spouse, or even her children. They have a sense of obligation to whoever is looking out for them and feel obligated to notify or seek permission from them before engaging in any activity, even if they are doing the right thing. This is a feeling that a woman experiences. Before doing anything, a woman is going to have multiple thoughts. She would continuously seek validation for even the most fundamental aspects of existence. If a woman wants to enjoy her life, she needs permission from her guardian, and even if she gets that permission, she still feels guilty, as if she is doing something wrong, even if she is simply trying to live her life.
And in this perspective, men are diametrically opposite to women. Men do not and will never think before acting. Sometimes they do not even ask for permission or bother to inform the other person. They believe it is their right to do anything they want and that no one has power over them but themselves. They do not want to be dictated to or answerable to anyone at all, but they owe it to the person looking after them to just provide basic information about their whereabouts so that they do not worry as much.
When someone tries to shape themselves to fit into someone else’s boxes, it limits their potential to grow and express themselves. That’s why women are constantly in men’s shadows, feeling obligated to respond and tell them everything. Everything is reciprocal, and if this is the nature of a woman, then the man should be open enough to reciprocate and do the same. The woman is not accountable to a man either, yet they feel compelled to inform them.
A woman is created and nurtured in such manner that she has always been and will always be more empathetic than men. This is something they have been taught since childhood, and it is also something that comes naturally to them. A woman will always be more caring towards any living being and will always feel obligated to notify or seek for permission before doing anything.
