Every woman has a past. Some faced domestic violence since the very early days of their life, while some had to face the brunt of violent family. Some were sexually abused by their own family members, while some were used in the name of love. Some were drugged, while some were viciously blackmailed for the things they have never done. Some had to face the bullies for being too fat, while some had to listen to the taunts due to being too thin. Some had to go through marital rape everyday, while some had to cope up with over-demanding in-laws. This list is endless, this is never going to end.
Though we have always raised voice on “Men” being the ones’ to be blamed always, very few acknowledge that sometimes a woman becomes another woman’s enemy. Being a woman, we are always too quick to judge, too fast to blame and too obnoxious to stand to our own mistakes. No man could understand the situation of a woman who has gone through all of the above in their life, because no man could put himself to the shoes of any woman. But, a woman can do that for another, she could be all the support her fellow need, but we let our ego rule ourselves.
If you see a woman who has gone through a lot of turmoil in her life, be the one who wipes her tears, not the one who bring the story out of it. Do not be too quick to claim that she never worked her to save her marriage, because friend of a friend you knew sacrificed herself for dear husband. Don’t judge others for the insecurities that you had to go through, let them live in peace because all of us already have a lot to worry over and don’t need anyone else to judge us all day long.
If you see a woman, who went through any of these, who had wiped her tears, tied her hair up, masked her sorrows with a divine smile, stood tall and strong, started walking towards her future; because she still has some hope left inside her and has not given up on the concept of love that still exists in this world. Do not stab her with her past, do not confront her, do not slap her with more abuse.
