WHY WILL YOU GIVE UP

It’s typical for our brains to give up readily. According to the “Pleasure Principle,” or the desire for immediate fulfillment, humans behave.

Our brains are designed for instant gratification in return. We were designed to want rapid gratification since, in prehistoric times, survival depended on it. Being highly present-focused, when we don’t obtain what we want right away, we become anxious and want to give up.

Yes, it makes sense that wanting to give up occasionally is normal. Yet giving up is unacceptable.

It’s crucial to understand the factors that make giving up seem like the wisest course of action. People desire to give up for a variety of reasons, and each one is motivated differently.

Although regret is the top thing you should avoid doing, before giving up on your desire, consider how your life might change and where you might be in a year, two years, or five years.

Don’t give yourself the chance to look back and feel remorse about the one choice you made at the time.

It’s critical to take some time to sit down with yourself and figure out why you frequently give up. You could feel apprehensive about going through with the process. However, once you truly address your limiting ideas, they can be quickly let go of and assist you in getting rid of mental barriers you weren’t even aware were there.

Be open and modify your opinion. Are there any other options you may try that feel more comfortable?
