Mawra Hocane is one of the most versatile actor of Pakistan. She is a very well known actress, not only in Pakistan but across the border in India as well. She is famous for her acting skills. Mawra Hocane started her career as a VJ and later she moved on to television drama serials. She made her acting debut in 2011 with A-Plus’s serial Khichari Salsa. Mawra Hocane is best known for portraying Nadia in Ek Tamanna Lahasil si, Haya in Ahista Ahista and Anaya in Sabaat. In 2016, Mawra Hocane made her Bollywood debut with Radhika Rao’s romantic drama movie ‘Sanam teri Kasam’ opposite Harshvardhan Rane. Then later she made her Pakistani film debut in 2018 with Nadeem Baig’s comedy drama movie ‘Jawani phir nahi aani 2’. Mawra Hocane changed the spelling of her family name ‘Hussain’ to ‘Hocane’ in grade 7th class to give it a unique spelling. The past few years have been very hectic for Mawra as she was not only working in films and dramas but also concentrating on her studies. She has done bachelors in LLB and right now she’s pursuing her Masters in Law and is more busy and is focusing on her studies.
