Why Khuda Aur Mohabbat Season 3 failed to impress

Khuda Aur Mohabbat is a TV series based on a novel, presently seasons 3 is on air. The first two seasons can be treated as one because the second one was just a more elaborate version of the first one. The first season aired in 2011, it was based on 16 episodes and half of the story was dramatized. The second season aired in 2017 and with a total of 23 episodes where the entire novel was dramatized. The first two seasons gained immense popularity and won the hearts of all the viewers. The legendary Imran Abbas played the lead role in both season 1 and 2.

KAM lovers were really excited when they heard about the third season being in loop. The first surprise fans got was when the main lead Imran Abbas was replaced by Feroze Khan. Having said that fans still had high hopes from the project. The teasers went extremely viral and the OST was greatly loved.

The initial episodes caught our attention and to be honest we were quite interested. The mesmerizing attires, beautiful jewelry and breathtaking locations. Cute bubbly Iqra Aziz and Feroza Khan looked a perfect onscreen couple. The fans were pretty much enjoying the cute love story.

To our disappointment it all started going downhill when the makers decided to prolong the drama into a never ending series of episodes. The heartbreak was fine but literally showing the same thing in every episode makes no sense. The first two seasons had limited episodes and really made a special place in our hearts, which unfortunately this season was not able to. Too many flashbacks and dragged scenes with repeated scenarios lost our attention.

Having said that, there is no doubt that the entire series has been greatly loved by the fans just wish they could retain the story line and quality of content.
