There are extreme rare cases when celebrities from across the globe join hands and gather at one place for any cause. This year Mumbai is going to be the ground for all the indian and international artists to be a part of a movement; Global Citizen Festival.
This year, Demi Lovato, Freida Pinto, Vidya Balan and Vivek Oberoi have pledged, along with the long list of top Indian and international artists who are already part of a movement to be at the same Mumbai address on November 19th.
Each celebrity commits to champion important causes of the world like gender equality, education and sanitation, with the goal to end poverty by the 2030.
Tickets for the festival are free as this movement needs more people to take step forward to take action. The movement was launched seven weeks ago and since then almost 500,000 young people have taken over 1.7 million actions to support these important causes.
This is indeed one of the brilliant movement to bring world together to end such epidemic. Good going everyone!
