The celebrity in the media Mathira is regarded as one of Pakistan’s most divisive leaders. Leaked pornographic videos recently targeted the notorious TV programme host. Mathira, a Pakistani broadcaster and model, expressed her disgust with some films circulating on social media, calling them phoney and altered. Mathira shared screenshots of a conversation with someone on Instagram stories. While the context of the chat is unclear, Mathira added comments to the video claiming that certain nude videos with her face are being disseminated on social media. She claims the films have been doctored, with her face pasted on using face swapping or editing.
“A video that was circulating on the internet was modified. The other two films are mine because I shared them on Snapchat, however a foolish and nude one was edited by someone other than me. My torso, as well as my fingertips, are covered in tattoos. Please put an end to this foolishness. InshAllah, whomever changed this will be punished,” Mathira added. She also stated that if necessary, she will pursue legal action against it.
