Shawn Levy has revealed that they are working on the new episodes for Season Four. Netflix has made an announcement about the fourth season as well.
But since, it’s not enough for fans, now everyone is curious when it will be aired.
As we know the release dates of second and third season, So we can assume it will be premiered on the streaming service mid to late-2021.
As we remember, In the finale episode of season 3, Hopper died and when Eleven wa skeft alone, Joyce took Eleven with her when she moved out. And Eleven has lost her super powers.
The question is, who is returning for Season 4. This is what we know:
Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven
Finn Wolfhard as Mike
Winona Ryder as Joyce
Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin
Noah Schnapp as Will
Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas
Sadie Sink as Max
Joe Keery as Steve
Natalia Dyer as Nancy
Charlie Heaton as Jonathan
Maya Hawke as Robin
Priah Ferguson as Erica
Cara Buono as Karen
Brett Gelman as Murray
From the list, Dacre Montgomery whose character, Bill had died in the final episode of season 3 is missing well.
David Harbour whose character, Hopper died as well, as it was shown but what many fans thinks is that he just disappeared in the finale. He could probably escaped to the Upside down.
So what we can only presume that he might return?
Talking to Entertainment Weekly, the creators of Stranger Things, Duffer Brothers said, the show would be following Joyce and co outside of Hawkins.
“[Season four is] going to open up a little bit…not necessarily in terms of scale, in terms of special effects, but open up in terms of allowing plotlines into areas outside of Hawkins.”
One interesting point they’ve referenced a couple of times is that season four could be the show’s last, Matt Duffer told the Vulture, “We simply need to continue modifying the story – however I don’t have a clue in the event that we can legitimize something awful transpiring once per year.”
