Balochistan has been on news since months. But what exactly is happening in Balochistan? Not everyone knows about it. Balochistan has been witnessing the worst humanitarian crisis for the last two decades. Not even a single month goes without human rights violations in Balochistan. Every other day there’s a bad news about Balochistan.
Balochistan is the least but the largest province of Pakistan. It is slowly descending into anarchy. From 2005, Pakistani security forces have brutally repressed the Baloch nationalist movement, fueling ethnic and sectarian violence in the province.The eruption of violence, led by Baloch nationalists, was generally perceived as merely another expression of restiveness in a province traditionally uneasy with Pakistan’s central government after all, the two groups had come into conflict on four occasions in the past. Since then Balochistan has been facing alot of trouble since years.
The Current situation of Balochistan is really bad. I’ll tell you a little glimpse about it. Monsoon rainfall has caused intense water and flood all over Balochistan. 12 of the dams have broken down. All of the peoples agricultural lands have been destroyed. People are homeless. They are out of food, water from the mountains has been hitting Balochistan with high force. Peoples houses have been collapsed completely. Not the just the poor but the rich too are going through the same situation. There houses have been collapsed too.
People have no house, no food, no access to clean water. No one is helping them. None of the people or government is helping sending relief to them. We all should come forward to support Balochistan and there people. We all should request Government to sent relief to the people living in Balochistan.
