There are a lot of people who include vitamin C serum in their skincare regimen. But have you also wondered why isn’t it effective enough or you can’t see results? Here is what you’re doing wrong!
- Vitamin C should be applied in the morning when the UV rays are at their highest. However, let it absorb into your skin before going out as it becomes less effective when exposed to light.
- To get maximum benefit it should be applied on freshly cleansed skin before moisturising
- People with dry or sensitive skin should use 5% concentration vitamin C. Whereas people with oily skin can use unto 20% concentration Vitamin C.
- Never use benzoyl peroxide with Vitamin C as it can oxidise Vitamin C and make it less potent.
- Be cautious while using Vitamin C with Retinol as using them at the same time can make both less effective.
Hope this helps!
