Vidya Balan is known to be an actor who can carry an entire film on her shoulders, and with Tumhari Sulu, she’s taking a major step forward in the same direction.
The promotions of her upcoming film Tumhari Sulu are on and Vidya Balan is leaving no stone unturned in promoting her film that also stars Manva Kaul, Neha Dhupia, and RJ Malishka.
Recently, during one such promotional event, Vidya was subjected to an embarrassing situation by a journalist who asked her if she was planning on losing weight anytime soon to do glamorous roles.
As if this wasn’t enough, he further went on to ask Vidya if she would continue to do women centric films as according to him, if you’re not sexy enough to do glamorous roles women oriented films are the only option that you have. To this, Vidya, stated that there was no relation between the two as she was happy with the work that she was doing and that people’s mindsets needed to change. Her exact reply was, ““I am very happy with what I am and the movies that I’m doing. But yes, if the mindset of people like you could change, it would be amazing.”
But what else do you expect from the brilliant Vidya Balan? After having done gems like Parineeta, The Dirty Picture and Kahaani, Vidya wears the confidence of a tigress and has never shied away from answering any sort of uncomfortable questions.
