The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai is officially over. Though the show itself won’t air until November 28, the angels have put up their obligatory “thank-you-what-a-dream” Instagram posts and are already flying on to their next job.
And looks like there was some drama at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after party in Shanghai.Including Bella Hadid, Taylor Hill, and Karlie Kloss headed over to the show’s official after party to cheers to another successful year on the runway, but their celebrations were cut short by police. The party reportedly began at 9 p.m. and was shut down by the Chinese authorities at 11:50 p.m., shortly after DJ Victor Aime took the stage.
The music was cut off right before midnight when police began to break the party up. “They want us to finish. We are sorry, we tried,” announced a woman who who was working crowd control. “A number of uniformed police officers” began to make their way into the venue (Shanghai’s Mercedes Benz Arena), and shortly afterward the party was officially over. There were also reports that the show went against China’s “reserved” style of dress.
