Since past few days, news were afloat that Veena Malik and Asad Khattak were parting their ways. Ms. Malik had filed for a Khula in Lahore High Court, which was granted, but now it seems that this might not be the case anymore. Seems that for once Veena was at the right side as she was subjected to inappropriate behaviour and alleged torture by her husband.
It was evident that Mr. Khattak was trying extremely hard to patch up the differences and get back with his lady love and he might have succeeded too.
As the news went viral, she was contacted by the father of Malala Yusufzai who is her reported brother, for giving Asad another shot. And just a day ago, Veena and Asad appeared on ARY News programme 11th hour where the host Waseem Badami had also invited Maulana Tariq Jameel.
To those who don’t know, it is Maulana Tariq with whom Veena seek spiritual guidance and he also performed her Nikkah.
The discussion of the reported divorce began, but Maulana Tariq Jameel saved the day and convinced Veena to give Asad another chance, which she agreed on giving. However, on the onset that Asad would give a written consent of his behaviour, which he instantly agreed on. Asad, on the other hand, looked rightfully embarrassed on his behaviour against Veena.
The couple tied the knot back on December 25, 2013, and are parents to two children.
