Uzma Khan the model turned acctress, is all set to make her television debut with Fahim Burney’s next titled Aadhi Gawahi.
“I’ve wanted to do a drama since a long time. It’s like I had to do it because currently we really don’t make that many films. And considering how thriving our drama industry is, I would’ve been here sooner than later.”
“When offered Aadhi Gawahi, I was like, why not? The drama has an excellent script, amazing story, great star cast and of course a wonderful director. Didn’t want to say no to such a brilliant opportunity.” Uzma added.
According to Khan, she will be playing the second lead in a love triangle that will exist between Ali Josh, Sohai Ali Abro and herself.
“Mine character is very different from what I have done so far in films. This one is going to be a refreshing treat. And I’m certainly excited for it. I’ve had a wonderful experience on the sets with my makers and the cast and I’m really looking forward to Aadhi Gawahi on television. The best part was, I really liked the role. It was powerful and I had absolutely no issues about the leads, whatsoever. It’s been wonderful so far.”
Written by Saima Akram, the drama revolves around a social issue and will explore the subjects of powerful men and how they exploit the society based on the power of money.
