With new voices surfacing each day, the journey to fame is not easy for everyone. Few years back, we saw singers and bands like Atif Aslam, Jal, Ahmed Jahanzeb, Call and E.P make their mark on the local music scene. Among the recent entrants, Uzair Jawal has been making waves not only in terms of his music but also the way it has won the audiences over.
The 24 year old singer is all set to playback in a Bollywood movie ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ says there are more ears to listen my music now. He believes that the global community of musicians has no boundaries.
Uzair releases this album as a memento of his tenth year in music.
“It’s been almost ten years that I have been doing music and this is my first album, so I feel like it was a long time coming and now that it’s here I’m really excited,” said the singer. “And I really hope that people will listen to it. I hope that my fans, who’ve been listening to me since I was 14, really connect with the album. I mean, if nothing else, they will hear it out once… at least once, and that’s all that matters. I just want my music to be heard and that’s it.”
