You all must be thinking which untold story we are talking about? Well, India’s upcoming movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is scheduled to release on 30th September, but due to tensed relations between both the countries, the film’s display has been suspended in Pakistan.
Well-known artists and filmmakers decided to initiate the protest operation against the exhibition of Indian films in Pakistani cinemas.
Chaudhry Aijaz Kamran, Chairman Pakistan Film Distribution Association said, “We cannot allow exhibiting Indian films in Pakistan in these circumstances. In this regards, we have already held a preliminary meeting of the artists and filmmakers in Royal Park”, he explained.
The meeting was attended by various renowned artists like, Mustafa Qureshi, Abid Ali and Ghulam Mohiuddin.
Senior artists said that millions of rupees profits are transferred to India through the movies hence; the government should take notice. They also pronounced that Pakistani artists should not challenge the dignity of their country in the hunger of money and fame.
