Rotaract is an annual conference which was held on 23rd and 24th of June this year in Karachi. Day one was organized at Regent Plaza and day two was held at Pakistan Marine Academy and it was hosted by DRR Dr Anum Akram.
Around 250 Rotaractors (participants) from all over the country came to attend the conference, which include rotary guests PDG Faiz Kidwai, PDG Iqbal Qureshi, DG Ovais Kohari, PDG Saleem Rao, Rtn Tahzeeb Kazmi, Rtn Arif Siddiqui, president Islamabad club and other Rotarian. The chief guest was Mr John Smith (Director US Aid Pakistan from US Consulate) and guests speakers were Farhad Karamally (famous corporate trainer), Khurrum Shaikh (Motivational Trainer) and PDRR Raza Tabish.
The event was also attended by past district rotaract representatives of 3272 district, DRR Asad Ullah Hunain 3272, DRR Rana Asad 3271, DRR.N Hadad Khan 3272 and DRR.N Asjad of district 3271. The event was comprised of speaking sessions, networking, council meeting, open house question session, special performance by special kids of Markaz-e-Umeed, special performance of little star Rahim Shabahat, award ceremony and DRR special awards for recognition and musical gala.
Day two was hosted my Commandant Ali Naqi of Pak Marine Academy and also presented the special memento to DRR Dr Anum Akram.
