A Pakistani-American hero, Laila Khan has been honored by the US President, Donald Trump for her efforts to help frontliners during the global health crisis. Khan hails from Maryland and is now known as the coronavirus hero. She donated cookies to the healthcare superheroes who are risking their lives day and night to bring the pandemic under control.
The superstar has also been recognized by the US embassy in Pakistan as well:
Congratulations to 10-year-old Laila Khan, a Pakistani-American girl scout who lives in Maryland. President Trump awarded her with a letter of recognition on May 15 during a ceremony honoring #coronavirus heroes.
Laila and two other scouts donated 100 boxes of girl scout cookies to local medical workers and firefighters, accompanied by personalized cards for them.
