The trailer of ‘102 Not Out’ is at long last here and it will indeed make your tummy hurt from all the snickering, cordiality Amitabh Bachchan, who is completely splendid in the trailer and also Rishi Kapoor, who is the ideal thwart to Big B’s character. Along these lines, here’s the way the trailer begins – a 102-year-old father has contrived an arrangement to outlast the most seasoned man (118-year-old) yet that is unrealistic with his 75-year-old child sulking around.
Amitabh Bachchan plays the father in the film, who puts stock in the YOLO method for living while Rishi Kapoor, who plays the child, takes life, genuinely and not a daring person by any stretch of the imagination. “I have acknowledged my maturity,” the child expresses in the trailer and Big B’s incite answer was “Subsequently, I have chosen to send you to a seniority home.” Umm, better believe it, that is the thrown in this family unit involving two silver haired people.
Big B describes his son as the “Thakela pakela boring insaan,” who smiles rarely and starts the day with a session of Anulom Vilom. The father has a take on that as well – “Itni hawa andar kheech ta hai nah yeh, kabhi kabhi mujhe tension ho jaata hai ki mere liye kuchh bachega ki nahi.”
The trailer clears a path for all the more such jokes conveyed by Amitabh Bachchan and is an outright giggle riot. 102 Not Out marks the arrival of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor on screen following 27 years – they were most recently seen together in 1991’s Ajooba.
