Tom Holland bids goodbye to Spider-Man

Following the tension between Disney and Sony has led Tom Holland to talk about a decision of removing Spider-Man from Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After a week, Holland finally broke the silence regarding the disagreement between Sony and Marvel’s parent company Disney.

Tom Holland went to Disney’s D23 Expo to promote his movie Onward by Pixar and talked about the end of Spider-Man.

Before coming off stage, Holland addressed the fans and said, “Listen, it’s been a crazy week, but I want you to know, I am grateful from the bottom of my heart, and I love you 3000.” as he bid farewell to the beloved Spider-Man.

What happened between Sony and Disney?

Disney, which owns Marvel had signed a deal in 2015 to bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although now, after the release and success of the film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Disney apparently asked Sony to share co financing of the future Spider-Man films. But both companies were having trouble coming to an agreement because Sony has opposed the new terms set by Disney.

However, now the future of Spider-Man is unsure.

This upsetting news left all the fans disappointed. Now, the famous superhero is leaving. Even though Holland addressed the issue after a week of the downfall between Disney and Sony, he guaranteed that he will keep on playing the well known superhero, even if he is not a part of MCU.
