Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum’s upcoming fashion competition series on Amazon finally has a title: Making the Cut. On Wednesday, the streaming company revealed details about the series hosted by the Project Runway alums, both of whom announced their departure from the long-running Bravo series last year. Now, along with the show’s title, it’s been revealed that Naomi Campbell, designer Joseph Altuzarra, Carine Roitfeld, and Nicole Richie will all serve as judges as well.
The show will premiere on Amazon in 2020. Its first runway challenge was filmed this Tuesday, in Paris. The competition will differ from Project Runway in a few key ways, namely when it comes to its prizes: The winning designer will receive $1 million. In addition, looks from the show will be available to shop on Amazon. (Jeff Bezos is chuckling richly somewhere in the distance.)
Gunn and Klum announced they were leaving Project Runway in favor of a new Amazon venture last September, after 16 seasons and dual Emmy wins in 2013. Karlie Kloss and Christian Siriano took over in their stead, as the series returned to Bravo after years airing on Lifetime.
