Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai has been in the news since its announcement. First we learned that Sultan movie’s director Ali Abbas Zafar is going to write and direct the movie, which is the sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Ek tha Tiger, and now we have learned that Kabir Khan who directed the 2012 movie will now produce it along with Salman Khan and Yash Raj Films.
Then came the announcement that Hollywood action director Tom Struthers, who has worked with Christopher Nolan on his blockbusters like The Dark Knight, Inception and The Dark Knight Rises and also on X-men movies, will now be working with the team of Tiger Zinda Hai.
Now the most recent news is that one of the Bollywood’s most experienced actor Paresh Rawal has joined the cast of the movie. The director of the movie Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted:
“I have always been a fan of his (Paresh Rawal) work and what he brings to his characters and I can’t wait to see him in this very special role, I am fortunate to be part of a film which is Paresh Rawal’s first for Yash Raj Films.” The director also tweeted on his handle, “Welcome on board @SirPareshRawal for @TigerZindaHai, looking forward to shoot with you soon 🙂 love Ali.”
The film has high-octane action sequences which will be shot in half a dozen locations across the world. According to reports, Salman and Katrina will be shooting the first one on the snow-capped mountains of Tyrol, Austria in freezing conditions.
