After the huge success of first two seasons, Suno Chanda might be returning to television with a third one.
The romantic comedy series, directed by Ahson Talish and produced by Momina Duraid, did exceptionally well; featuring Farhan Saeed and Iqra Aziz, the show became one of the most-watched television series in the country.
Fret not superfans, for your prayers have been answered.
BBC Asian Network’s, Haroon Rashid tweeted that Momina Duraid has confirmed that there are discussions for a season three of the series. However, there will be a two-year break until that happens, and it will be aired in 2021.
It has yet to be confirmed whether the star cast of the show will be returning or if we’ll be seeing newer faces.
Towards the end of the previous season, we see Jiya (Iqra Aziz) wanting to go to the UK and Arsal (Farhan Saeed) tells her that he’s bought a ticket as well and will be going with her. Since a part of the third season will be based in the UK, the audience will probably see their journey thereon.χ
