The Witcher, premiered in December 2019, was confirmed for a season 2 and its shoot began in February 2020 in the UK. However, owing to the pandemic and after a cast member tested positive for COVID-19, the show was the first major production in the U.K. to be halted as a result of the pandemic.
As reported, the Henry Cavill starrer will now commence shooting to get its planned 2021 release. Alongside Cavill, the show features Anya Chalotra and Freya Allen as leads.
