There’s a Dulhan course which is being offered to girls, that will provide classes on how to lead a successful married life. It will also teach tailoring, sewing, cooking, home management, and beauty tips.
This is really disappointing! But unfortunately, we live in a society where a successful, happy marriage is based on these domestic skills.
No matter how educated and well-mannered you are, but unless you don’t know how to make ‘gol rotis’ you still lack a major ability.
However, a smooth and happy marriage has less to do with these domestic abilities in a girl. A happy marriage is more about having a good understanding with your partner, supporting him/her in ups and downs, giving respect to each other and filling each other’s life with love and harmony.
People seriously need to understand this and change their perspectives. Also, this course just focuses on teaching girls whereas it is the responsibility of husband and wife both to smoothly run their marriage.
