Winters are here and it’s the season to catch a cold or be down with the flu. Yup! I am currently writing this blog while I wipe my nose which has been running all day and coughing like an old woman.
My solution? A hot cup of golden milk! What is golden milk you ask, let me tell you all about it!
So it all began when I was a little child.. wait wait. Just kidding. I recently discovered the benefits of golden milk, something I used to run away from as a child but has now become my go to drink in these cold months.
If you want to reduce inflammation, soothe your throat, feel energised, improve mood and brain function, relieves joint pain or boost the immune system while aiding digestion, look no further.
Grab a cup of milk and heat it up, once warm, add a teaspoon of turmeric, pinch of cinnamon and let it boil. Once that is done, pour it in a cup, add a tablespoon of honey and voila! Your very own “golden milk” is ready!
