It’s only three days into the new year and 2020 is already shaping up to be bigger, better and filled with more childhood nostalgia than ever!
And one of the new series that’s right on top of our waiting list? The Lizzie McGuire reboot of course!
Since it was announced last year that one of our favourite childhood shows was being revived over at Disney+, we’ve been excited to see Hilary Duff reprise her iconic role as the beloved Lizzie along with many of the original cast members.
When Adam Lamberg was revealed to also be reprising his role, we could only squeal in excitement to see what Lizzie and Gordo would be up to as they turn 30 (which is when the reboot is set).
We’ve been living off bits and pieces that have been revealed about the upcoming series and now, we’ve got just a bit more!
In a promo video for all the upcoming series to anticipate on Disney+ in 2020, a 2-second clip from Lizzie McGuire was seen, and it’s already giving up glimpses into Lizzie’s life as a soon-to-be 30-year-old living in New York who seemingly has it all.
“Is this not what 2020 vision means? From @ToyStory 4 and Aladdin to #LizzieMcGuire and @MarvelStudios’ #WandaVision, here’s a look into our future at the blockbusters and Originals coming to #DisneyPlus this year,” Disney+’s caption read.
