Endings are scary. They are full of uncertainty, insecurity and the fear of the unknown. The concept of endings is a scary phenomenon for many. Be it the ending of a relationship, friendship, university, job or any important life defining bond or connection, nobody is fond of endings.
However, have you ever wondered what lies beyond? Ever thought of what comes after the so called “end” that we all fear?
Liberation. Changes. Growth.
These are just a few things that I feel “endings” can result in. The whole idea of people becoming afraid to end bad relationships, toxic friendships or unhealthy situations only because they’re afraid of change, amazes me. Why do people hold onto things that hurt and no longer serve any purpose just because they don’t like the tag of something ending?
My personal suggestion to all those clutching on for dear life by a hay straw and those struggling to breathe even though they are almost underwater is to just LET GO!
Sometimes, letting go is the reason you become happy. Nobody needs to hold onto any person or situation that is harmful for them. Simply “end” it!
In endings, do only lie new beginnings.
Until next time.
