What Is Forgiveness? Well if I say, “It is as a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you, regardless of whether they actually deserve your forgiveness.”
Seems difficult to understand right? That’s what I thought hence it means that forgiveness is an art and cannot be explained in words. It comes from within and one of the most difficult things to do, one has to let go of their ego and let go!
You may consider the following steps of forgiveness:
Acknowledge – Acknowledge the hurt
Consider – Consider how the hurt and pain has affected you
Accept – Accept that you cannot change the past
Determine- Determine whether or not you will forgive
Repair
