Alpha Supermarket is the first store in Pakistan to launch an international private label. The collaboration between Alpha and Tesco will enable Alpha Supermarkets to provide a broad range or Tesco products including ambient, frozen and fresh foods, as well as household, health and beauty products.
The launch of Tesco Private Label was done in a star-studded event, where the choreography was done by Moiz Kazmi and the event’s PR was coordinated by Take II.
Nadeem Hussain, Chairman of Limestone Pvt. Ltd said:
“Limestone is honoured to bring a global brand like Tesco in Pakistan. We intend to leverage this relationship by creating Alpha Express stores across the country in short order. We will also be making Tesco products available on our e-commerce platform.”
Adnan Hamid, CEO of Limestone Pvt. Ltd said:
“As an organization, we have invested substantial resources in the retail sector over the last few years, as we believe in Pakistan and the future of retail in the country. The first location to offer Tesco products will be Alpha Supermarket at Ocean Mall, Clifton, Karachi. The supermarket plans to expand across major cities of the country.
