Just as we were thinking we are not going to get new music by Zayn Malik, well he just shook us all. Yes shook, shocked and can’t believe that he’s back.
Zayn Malik brushed aside his recent social media drama as he dropped song of our dreams, a rendition of A Whole New World for the upcoming live action remake of Aladdin, alongside rising singer Zhavia Ward on Thursday.
In the newly-released music video, the singer displayed his incredibly soothing vocals as he walked through New York’s Central Park at night. The Pillow-talk hit-maker shunned his rock star aesthetic in favour of a more dapper look as he sported a sharp grey suit, and styled his raven hair into a slick comb-over do.
Walt Disney Studios, said in a statement. “Zayn’s vocals are like no other and his artistic imprint immediately brought a contemporary and diverse presence. Additionally, Zayn could have chosen any artist in the world to collaborate with on the duet, but he personally selected Zhavia for her unique perspective, powerful vocal abilities and to platform a talented new artist, ensuring that the audience could discover this song, again, for the first time.”
The live action movie is a remake of Disney’s 1992 animated film. Most fans on Twitter adored the version and even liked the idea of Zayn playing Aladdin himself.
Well no doubt he is the perfect choice for this song, as fans are already hyped about what to expect next.
