Love avocados? Stop eating them right now!

Avocados are generally considered as a healthy food and are widely used in salads, soups, pizza toppings, and sandwich stuffing etc. They have a number of beneficial fats including Vitamin K, Vitamin B5, Fibre and Omega 3 fatty acids. It is mostly used due to its tendency to increase the level of cholesterol in a body.

However, the list of goods just ends here. And this list might not be beneficial for you at all. As per the research conducted by the University of Cambridge, some people have genetic mutation which means that due to high-levels of HDL-C there is a great risk of getting coronary heart disease. Though, this high-risk mutation is only affecting one in seventeen hundred.

Co-investigator of the study Dr. Adam Butterworth said:

“This discovery could lead to new drugs that improve the processing of HDL-C to prevent devastating heart attacks.

“This is one of the first studies to show that some people that have high levels of ‘good’ cholesterol actually have a higher risk of heart disease so it challenges our conventional wisdom about whether ‘good’ cholesterol is protecting people from heart disease or not.”

Well, so you might be that one lucky or unlucky who has good cholesterol in body and eating avocado can extremely be dangerous for them.
