But now, As per the local media, after almost two decades, the duo is ready to share the screen together again for the sequel of Mr. India.
According to the source close to the sequel’s production, “The idea is to take the story forward, but not just for the heck of it. We wanted a solid plot, and we have got it.” The source also revealed that Sridevi and Anil Kapoor wouldn’t be the only important actors working in the sequel. The film will be directed by a new director and will also feature two fresh faces in the lead roles. It’s been a decade since Mr India first released, but the film is still fresh in memories of the fans. And what could be better than its sequel starring the same lead actors after two decades?
