Spider-Man: No Way Home’ beats James Cameron’s epic sci-fi movie ‘Avatar, and it’s totally deserving. No Way Home continues its remarkable run at the box office and has shattered yet another BO record. The Tom Holland-led web-slinger movie has now overtaken James Cameron’s fantasy flick Avatar and became the third-highest-grossing movie in the United States.
No Way Home has become the first pandemic-era movie to smash the $1-billion milestone globally. Sony’s comic book epic has eclipsed that milestone in a near-record 12 days, tying with 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens as the third fastest film to reach the billion dollar benchmark.
Globally, No Way Home has taken in over $1.8B, with $1.047B of that total coming from international markets.
