The most awaited movie of the year Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has definitely lived up to its expectations. The first week of the movie has been a smashing block buster all around the globe.
It is easily the best domestic opening weekend turnout of any movie in pandemic times. Prior to this weekend, no other COVID-era film had been able to cross even $100 million in a single weekend. The final chapter in the Tom Holland-led trilogy had initially been expected to gross $130 to $150 million over the weekend, but it quickly squashed those estimates. On its first day alone, the film collected $121 million.
“This weekend’s historic results, from all over the world and in the face of many challenges, reaffirm the unmatched cultural impact that exclusive theatrical films can have when they are made and marketed with vision and resolve,” says Sony Motion Picture Group chair-CEO Tom Rothman, who has remained a huge proponent of an exclusive theatrical release.
The movie is playing in all cinemas all over Pakistan and almost all shows are fully booked, ill let everyone enjoy and therefore wait for another few days to write a review as I don’t want to give any spoilers for now!
