Opening up on the rumours of her impending wedding, Sonam Kapoor said in an interview that she is upset over the fact that the personal lives of female actors is questioned much more than their male contemporaries.
Sonam stated, “Nobody has the right to access my personal life. This one part has to be in my control. I am ready to talk about me but there is another person involved here and I need to respect him.”
She added, “I don’t think it’s okay for me to speak about somebody else. Everything I put out there is with his permission and whatever he puts out there is with my permission. But if somebody is asking me a question publicly I don’t think it is okay for me to speak about the person because that person has not signed up for it. This is just keeping it a little sacred – keeping it in my control.
On the work front, Sonam will next be seen in R Balki’s PadMan which is based on Arunachalam Muruganantham and also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte.
