While we already had a number of reasons to look forward to Walt Disney’s upcoming The Lion King live action version, the excitement got all the better just now. Announcing on Twitter, Walt Disney confirmed that the Hindi version of the film would be voiced over by none other than but King Khan from Bollywood. Shahrukh Khan.

Shahrukh Khan also endorsed the tweet by sharing it on his social media. The King of Bollywood stated how excited he was to be working with his son again.
“Glad to be a part of this journey… a timeless film. Voicing it in Hindi with my own Simba. The last time we did a film was around 15 years ago and it was ‘Incredible’ and this time around its even more fun. Hope everyone enjoys it 19th July onwards. #TheLionKing,” wrote Shahrukh.
Earlier, Shahrukh Khan and Aryan Khan together dubbed for The Incredibles Hindi version. SRK was Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible (Mr. Lajawab) while Aryan took up the character of Dashiell Robert “Dash” Parr/The Dash (Tez Pal).
The Lion King live action version brings back memories from the animated film from 1994 . The film releases 19th July all over the world. While Shahrukh Khan voices Mufasa and Aryan Khan voices Simba in the Hindi versions, Donald Glover has voiced Simba and James Earl as Mufasa in the English.
