Staying quiet: not speaking your mind is disregarding your feelings as if they are not important. Tell them how you really feel rather than keeping them all inside.
Isolating yourself: keeping yourself away from any form of interaction can deplete your mood drastically. Staying in your own thoughts can prove to be fatal for your mental health.
Not moving: living without any form of mental stimulation and exercise can increase levels of sadness. Explore the world and get more connected with your inner self.
Ignoring the feeling of care: when we stop asserting or forming an opinion, we enable other people to control us. Start caring about your life and see it change.
You must learn to love yourself. Even if it hurts. Even if you feel broken. Respecting your own thoughts and feelings enables you to acknowledge what served you in life and what doesn’t. You are worthy. You are important. No matter how the world makes you feel, your true self is a reflection of how much you value yourself. Remember to cherish who you are and what you stand for and it is only then you will feel at ease and grow.
Until next time.
