Indian film celebrities Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Karan Johar are among 12 Indians in Variety’s list of 500 ‘influential business leaders shaping the global USD 2 trillion entertainment industry.
A tweet from Variety’s official Twitter handle read, “Salman Khan is one of the unrelated Khan triumvirate comprising Aamir and Shah Rukh that has been ruling the Bollywood box office for decades.
The Variety500 is decided based on the accomplishments of the most influential people in entertainment over the year.
As for Priyanka Chopra, they have talked about her successful run in Bollywood and Hollywood for that matter, especially with her TV series Quantico, which which has been renewed for a third season.
Besides Salman, Priyanka and KJo, the other names include Ekta Kapoor, Aditya Chopra, Mukesh and Anil Ambani, Sidharth Roy Kapur, Subhash Chandra, Punit Goenka, Kishore Lulla and Uday Shankar.
