Being a part of this generation it is to be accepted that we are living in a mix cultural society due to which we have forgotten our real cultural and moral values. Pakistan is a county full of culture and rich in traditions, it had its own recognition via its culture but unfortunately we have adopted other traditions and living styles. So, let’s take out a moment and have a look back to the moral values that were given to us by our ancestors.
Let’s talk about the weddings that are trending in Pakistan in several different ways it is mainstream to spend millions of rupees in decorations dresses and food and in all this hustle and bustle what we forget is the traditions that is our identity rather then we follow all the cheap Bollywood style traditions.
There was a time when Pakistani’s were identified by their dresses e.g. shalwar kameez but now things have changed we have totally indulged ourselves in western attire and are more attracted to it.
History of our country shows all the hardships our leaders did for our sake and they were proud of the different language we had – Urdu, but now the bitter reality is that some so called Pakistanis feel ashamed in talking in Urdu.
Even our living styles show how much we are influenced by the western culture, which alerts that our real culture is fading away and a time will come when our coming generation will be unaware of what our traditions actually were.
