Rizwan Beyg’s Truck art inspired gown showcased at Buckingham Palace

Designers from all over Pakistan are now marking territories around the globe with their contemporary designs. Another one of our famous designer, Rizwan Beyg who has an eminent position in the Pakistani fashion industry showcased his truck art inspired gown at The Commonwealth Fashion Exchange, held at Buckingham Palace.

Keeping the cultural origins intact he was able to exhibit colorful truck art motifs, hand embroidered by the rural women of Bahawalpur on extravagant silk fabric which promoted the craft of our people.

The Commonwealth Fashion Exchange displays couture pieces from 53 different countries. It allows designers to incorporate both conventional and modern day design. The look also promotes the idea of empowering women from every walk of life which is a huge initiative pivotal for our society. We can see how designers are coming forward with creations that not only support a cause but also to build our stand in the international fashion industry.
