These sarcastic rape prevention tips for men are going viral for all the right reasons

Every girl at least once in her life must have heard the conventional, mainstream rules and tips telling them to avoid certain things which cater to men “RAPING” them. Rape is that easy, isn’t it?

Within countries like India and Pakistan, it is a common phenomena that it is a woman who is responsible if any act of rape or sexual abuse happens against her. However, the situation is not alien in other countries too, in modern countries like UK and USA the liberal women are also told to not drink and wear revealing clothes. But, this make us all feel that the victim or potential victim is being blamed for the act she won’t ever be responsible for.

But this Redditor with her sarcastic, viral rape prevention tips is literally all over the internet and believe me she got to have an Oscar for this. The rape prevention tips posted by the user are satirical techniques on how sexual molestation is committed and how men should react to them.

These rape prevention tips are breaking the internet for all the right reasons

TIP 1:

As simple as that; if someone is drunk, don’t rape them. You do not have the right to go against ones’ will if they are not in their senses.

TIP 2:

If a girl is walking alone that doesn’t give you an authority to leap over her. Let her go in peace!

TIP 3:

Don’t have the guts to stop yourself from raping a girl? Tag a friend along with you, wherever you go so he may control you before you jump up at any other girl.

TIP 4:

Carry a whistle, or more specifically “rape whistle” with you at all times. If you think that you are about to rape someone, just keep blowing it till help arrives.

TIP 5:

Honesty is the answer to all your worries, if you are just pretending to like someone with an intention of using them later, tell them exactly that. Here is what you need to say; “I don’t like you at all, I just want to use you”. Easy? Otherwise, the girls would start thinking that you actually like them with no plan of raping them.

These tips have basically been derived from ten rape prevention tips, which went viral in 2015 after international comedian Sarah Silverman posted them:

Rape culture around the world has always blamed women for being the centre of this stigma, finding blame in their clothing, beverages and exposing sexuality at all times. It is always portrayed that men are powerless against their extremely violent sexual desires and that women are the ones’ who should protect themselves.
