Everyone, who watched ADHM was talking about Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s sizzling chemistry. Their close scenes created a significant thrill among fans. In a radio chat, Ranbir opened up about his experience shooting the scenes with Aishwarya, where he revealed that he did felt shy, so much so that his hands used to shiver and he was hesitant to even touch her cheeks. Ashwariya asked him to do it properly, reminding him that they were acting at the end of the day. Ranbir added, “Tabhi maine socha, kabhi aisa mauka milega nahi, so maine bhi mauke pe chauka maar diya!”
The actor’s ‘mauke pe chauka’ comment reportedly didn’t go down too well with the Bachchans; as they felt it was humiliating. Bachchan family has four very professional actors and that they know what professionalism is all about.
The source revealed that the family does not have any objection to the scenes in the film, but felt that Ranbir’s comment was embarrassing.
Soon Ranbir took note of these reports and decided to clear the air. Ranbir said that his comments were taken in bad taste and that it was blown out of context and sensationalized.
“Aishwarya is such a superb actor and also a family friend. She’s one of India’s most talented and respected women. I will be forever grateful to her for her contribution to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. I could not have disrespected her like that,” Ranbir stated.
