We all welcomed Ramadan this year like we always do. But one thing is for sure that we all know that this year we won’t be witnessing the legends like we did previously.
Every year we used to watch Junaid Jamshed from Suhoor to Iftar, and used to follow his teachings. But this year, we won’t be seeing that glowing face. Sadly, he died in a plane crash on 7th December, 2016.
Amjad Sabri, who was everyone’s favorite was shot last year in Ramadan on 26th June, 2016. His death was a shocking news for everyone. He was a renowned Qawwal, his “Bhardo Jholi Meri Ya Muhammad” was the most loved Kalaam. We will be missing that mesmerizing voice forever. We lost a legend, and this Ramadan won’t be the same without him.
Lastly, we lost the only legend who is irreplaceable, Abdul Sattar Edhi. He was philanthropist, ascetic, and humanitarian who founded the Edhi Foundation. Last year on 8th July he passed away due to kidney failure. This year would be hollowed without his presence.
