The fashion industry came back with a bang with its most extravagant and sought-after event of the year, the 19th edition of the Pantene HUM Bridal Couture Week (PHBCW) that took place in Lahore from December 10 to 12, 2021.
The fashion week not only brought back the drama, boldness and glamor but gave us a sight to one of the best couture collections we had ever seen.
Continuing the legacy and association with the fashion week, Pantene was once again the title sponsor which also showcased its one-of-a-kind ‘Hair Show’ at the event. Models sashayed down the ramp showing off their shiny, bouncy, healthy hair adding more glamour to the Pantene Bridal Couture Week with their more open hair days campaign, and there isn’t asking why PHBCW21’ became the talk of the town….or shall we say ‘talk of the country!’
One can easily say that Pantene had taken over the ramp with its life-sized shampoo bottle as the centre stage, giving spotlight to different hairstyles and celebrating #PanteneMoreOpenHairDays narrative. This surely was one of the best ways to encourage our Pakistani hardworking women to get out of their tied-up buns, to being bold, amazing and glamorous without the fear of hair fall.
To top it off was Umair Jaswal’s performance where models felt free to join in and dance as the rockstar entertained every face at the event, rocking the stage with Pantene. The song ‘Baalon ko Apni Tarah Urne Dou’ focused on the freedom and beauty of open hair; the courage and confidence women can attain by letting their hair down and being themselves. It was surely a performance that was a knock out of the park, and no one could have done it better than Umair Jaswal with his amazing moves! Nonetheless, Pantene’s Hair Show showcased an amazing collaboration between Style and Music, even the audience couldn’t help but vibe along with the performance.
Fahad Hussayn, presented an avant-garde collection but what made his collection even more alluring was that he had styled his models with Pantene’s iconic gold color marking it as an inspiration which created quite a buzz at the event! The models looked like absolute vision in their outfits as they graced the runway.
Pantene’s ‘Hair Show’ was surely one that created great hype and uniqueness, making waves in the fashion industry. This particular collaboration between the world of fashion and beauty will not only give women a chance to walk out with ‘open hair’, but also give them confidence to shine and love who they are. Overall, Pantene’s ‘Hair Show’ with its bling, style and overall glam was an absolute show-stopper!
