14th August is a common day for other nations, but this is the most valuable day for the Pakistani nation in the history of Pakistan. It commemorates the day when Pakistan achieved independence and was declared a sovereign state, following the end of the British Raj in 1947.
In-dependency for any country needs a celebration and the people of Pakistan celebrate this festival and celebrations with interest and joy. They come together and show unity under the green and white flag of our Pakistan. On this day, the national flag is hoisted on public and private buildings, residences, and monuments. Official buildings, including Parliament House, are decorated with flags.
